I consider myself as a Master Yoda of the learning technologies world, spreading my knowledge across the University of Leicester and beyond. I currently work as the Student Support and Development Service Learning Technologist involves the design and development of elearning resources to support the development of students. This role involves putting research into practice, with a good knowledge and understanding of learning and teaching.
I graduated in 2003 with a BSc in Physics with Space Science and Space Technology. I gave up following the steps of Stephen Hawking and instead developed an expertise in learning technologies during my previous roles as a Secondary Science Teacher and working within the University of Leicester’s Beyond Distance Research Alliance, who’s primary focus is elearning research. The focus of Matthew’s research include; Personalised Learning Environments, ePortfolios and Podcasting.
