As a service SSDS run many events throughout the year. It is important these are advertised and marketed appropriately. We use traditional printed methods like flyers and posters. But also digital media including:
- Frontpage of SSDS website
- Student Support tab on the Blackboard
- Digital Signage
- Twitter, Facebook and email newsletters
However each of these has limited “real estate” so not everything we do can be advertised in all the places at once, therefore an advertising schedule is required. I’m going to administer this on the SSDS google account using a shared calender. This will inform colleagues what is intended to be advertised, where and when. This will enable them, to choose the appropriate location for their adverts and book places in advance.
